Lauren is studying BSc in Nursing at StFX University as well as playing on the Women's Rugby team at StFX. Lauren is a water ski and wakeboard coach in the summer for all ages and abilities.

She started snow skiing when I was 6 years old and have been ski racing for 11 years. There are too many memories to pick a favourite one but some great ones are Crabbe Speed Week, 2015 Canada Games, U16 Nationals/CanAms and Collingwood FIS races.

Lauren's advice would be to train hard and have fun. This sport offers many amazing opportunities such as experiencing new places, meeting other athletes and getting to see some beautiful places along the way.

For the older athletes, learn how to tune your skis and always have them ready to go for the conditions.
