Coach Bio:

Olivia is studying pharmacy at Dalhousie University. In the summer she coaches sailing, instructs swimming and lifeguards. She has a part-time year-round job at a pharmacy in Halifax working as a pharmacy student. 

Olivia has been skiing since I was one and a half and has been coaching for 3 years now plus two years of guiding/coaching.

Olivia loves to coach because she gets to help athletes build a passion for sport and teach them not just skiing lessons but life lessons like how to be tough, how to work hard, and how to be a good sport just like her coaches did for her when she was growing up.

Olivia’s favourite skiing memory would probably have to be Crabbe speed camp, Can-Ams in Mont Tremblant or Marble Mountain camp or any Mike Clarke “don't be shitty” speech.  

Olivia’s advice would be have a good time, enjoy the racing, meet athletes from other hills. Experience everything this sport has to offer on and off the snow. Also, when in High School make some friends who take really good notes because I guarantee you will need them when you go away for camps and races.
