WSRC Update!

Hello WSRC Families

While the end of the ski season is within sight we still have more fun to come.

Good luck to all our athletes who are competing at Poley this coming weekend!

Here are a few other events for you to look forward to.

Club Champs - Saturday March 25th (U8 - 18)

This is a fun race that offers an opportunity for all of our athletes to put what they’ve been working on all season to the test. No registration required. The race will take place during regular programming.

WSRC Year-End Banquet - March 25th @ Wentworth Rec Centre 4:30-6:30 PM

WSRC families, please join us to celebrate the 2022/2023 season!  We will have an opportunity to thank our amazing coaches, reflect on the season, and recognize our athletes.

Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for the athletes and we are going to bring back the infamous WSRC Chili Cook-off — who will keep or take the title of the golden ladle? Interested participants, please contact Susie Cooke to confirm your entry @ susieloohoo@hotmail.com.  Kate Lovett has dominated this competition in recent years and we think there is a parent out there who can finally take her down for good!

For those not participating in the chili cook-off, please consider bringing some of the following:

• U8 parents - drinks (bubbly, juice packs etc)
• U10 parents- treats/dessert 
• U12 parents and up - apps, rolls/bread for chili, sides or salad

Athlete Sponsorship Opportunity

As a reminder, this January we introduced a new fundraising opportunity that benefits athletes directly. For each new sponsorship an athlete generates, WSRC will provide the athlete with 15% credited back against fees!
