Senior Team Race Updates on Qualifying Races

Hello Senior Athlete Families, 

Check out the important updates on our upcoming races.

Slalom Time Trials
Thursday, Feb 23rd 
Ski Wentworth

This will count for U16 Easterns. Participants will do two, two-run races for a total of four slalom starts this season, of which athletes must count two. Timing will be done with Brower Wireless Timing, the same system that national teams use for time trials. It also has Bluetooth connectivity for anyone who wishes to check the times in real time for total transparency. We do not have anyone available to run the hard wired system. Details to follow for participants. Athletes are not required to register in advance to participate.

All CWG athletes will participate for training regardless.

Mark your calendar!

We are happy to share that the GS race at the upcoming Byrne Memorial will replace the GS starts lost at Crabbe to achieve the originally scheduled number of starts per discipline. This will also take the place of the Team Atlantic Cup which is unable to proceed due to scheduling conflicts at the hill. 

The Byrne Memorial race will also include a two run SL race with mini gates which will not count towards qualifying. This race will also be open to U12. Additionally, the winner of the overall for each gender gets $100!
