N.B. Speed Week - Jan 31, Feb 1, and Feb 2 @ Crabbe Mtn

This training camp is a really great experience for our U14 / U16 / U18 athletes to learn about Super Giant Slalom (SG) and train at speed in Atlantic Canada.

Athletes MUST have SG Skis to participate. Some athletes have their own skis, some athletes borrow skis, some athletes rent skis. This is because these skis are designed to perform at the speeds these athletes will be travelling and turning thus mitigating the risks they are facing.

Athletes also MUST wear a BACK PROTECTOR at all times during this camp. They need these for GS training and racing with WSRC as well - so it should be with them - just make sure they are wearing them.

Speed Week is a highlight of our winter and a lot of FUN. The equipment above will help to ensure it is also as safe as possible.

Stay tuned for more information on this program and others in the weeks ahead.
