Race Account Update End of Season Stuff AGM Equipment Orders for Next eason MSA December Camps Offseason Activities
The season has ended rather abruptly and we are making sense of it all as we, like everyone, cope with the pandemic crisis. Please note that this is not meant in anyway to be disrespectful of the current situation.
Here are some things we want to share on the WSRC front:
1 - Race account reconciliation is underway and we hope to have this completed by mid April.
2 – Related to the season being cut short, we will complete our financial evaluation and make a decision at the April Board of Directors meeting and send a communication shortly thereafter, currently targeting mid-April.
3 – End of Season Event: We are so sad to have had to cancel this, as it is fun, provides closure to the season, recognizes a bunch of athletes, the coaches and volunteers and usually ends the season on a high note. We are reviewing the practicality of having it at a much later date.
4 – End of Season Survey: This will be sent out as usual under a separate communication. Please take the time to complete it as it provides valuable insight to the people charged with running the Club.
5 - End of Season Video by Jeff Cooke (@cookedphotography). Caveat: we didn’t get the group photos done and we fully acknowledge lots of our athletes are not included in this as more breadth of coverage was on Jeff’s ‘to do’ list for the two cancelled weekends. 6 - AGM – tentative date June 8, 2020. All members are encouraged to attend every AGM. We may arrange for a virtual meeting. Stay tuned for updates.
7 – Equipment: It is never too soon to start planning for next season. Spring is the time of year when orders are placed. More communications to follow with equipment advice and order forms.
8 – Offseason Activities such as mental training and dryland training will be communicated at a later date.
9 – 2020/21 Program Registration – Our current intention is to replicate the 2019/20 timing:
Finally, we would be remiss if we did not express a HUGE THANK YOU to our coaching staff, our parent volunteers, our sponsors and to Ski Wentworth for a great season!!

- Registration opens to returning members only for 1 month in July
- Early Bird Registration closes September 30
- Registration closes December 1st
