Greetings! School has begun and it is time to start thinking pre-season....
1 - Registration for 2019/20 Programs is open and don’t forget that Early Bird Fees expire October 1st (25 days remaining!) and that we have implemented caps in our age groups this year and registration is first come, first serve.

3 - Fall Dryland: Does your athlete want to ramp up their fitness moving into the ski season? Osprey Athletics Crossfit and Weightlifting in Bedford is offering Wentworth Ski Race Club athletes U12 and up an 8 week pre-season training session to get ready for the upcoming season. Coach Ticia O'Brien will work with athletes to improve their overall fitness while also targeting specific exercises to improve skiing. Fee per athlete is $80 plus HST payable directly to Osprey Athletics and will take place Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 on the following dates: Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and Nov 5, 12, 19. Location is 14-275 Rocky Lake Road in Bedford. Osprey requires a minimum of 10 athletes to run the program.

4 – Save the dates:
- The annual race team swap night will be Monday October 7th – details to follow.
- Parent Meeting Dates are U12 on Tuesday, October 15th and U14+ on October 22nd. Details to follow. Plan for the season, program changes, AAA schedule will be reviewed. (Parent meetings for U8 & U10 will be held in Wentworth in January.)
3 – Stay tuned for race night dates at Aerobics First & Cleve’s – member discounts to apply and reps of your favourite brands will be on hand.
4 – Level 2 Officials course (and Level 1 refresher) to be held November 16th. Course is free and anyone interested in officiating is encouraged to participate.
