We are sad to say that this is our final weekend of the Season in Wentworth...it sure did fly by and we sure did have a lot of fun. Here is what we've got on tap for the Weekend... SATURDAY – Club Champs – all welcome! Regular program times apply. There will be ...
We are sad to say that this is our final weekend of the Season in Wentworth...it sure did fly by and we sure did have a lot of fun.
Here is what we've got on tap for the Weekend...
SATURDAY – Club Champs – all welcome!
Regular program times apply. There will be TWO courses.
The U12 & Up GS course will start from below Headwall and run to the finish shack.
The U10 / U8 / U6 course will be a Paneled Slalom and run from top of Combat zone to finish shack.
The first Run for U14 / U16 / U18 will be at 9:00 +/-
The first run for U12 will be at 9:30
U6 / U8 / U10 will run two runs BACK to BACK starting at 10:00. Racers start from youngest groups to older groups. This way they will be finished racing before lunch.
Second Run for U12 / U14 / U16 / U18 will be at 12:30
After the race is complete, GS training on the track will continue for U12+.
At end of race, EVERYONE is asked to pitch in with taking down the BNET and rolling it up and putting it back in the container.
Reminder: If you have not already done so, put your raffle tickets in the mailbox beside the WSRC notice board in the main entrance of the lodge by noon on Saturday.
End of Season Social at the Wentworth Recreational Centre, 3-5pm

UPCOMING EVENTS:
There will be a Level 3 officials course facilitated by Claude Marquis in Moncton on June 8-9th. There will be no registration cost to attend the course.
The Alpine Ski Nova Scotia AGM will be on June 12th. All WSRC members are welcome to attend.
REGISTERING FOR NEXT SEASON…more to follow; Super Early Bird Rate will apply until June 30th and Early Bird Rate will apply until October 31st.

Congratulations to ALL Atlantic Cup recipients. For those of you who missed the awards at Poley, the recipients were….
(The Atlantic Cup is awarded to the athletes within the Atlantic Region with the best overall results for races hosted within the Atlantic provinces.)

- Groupings will be assigned by Dawn for U8 & U10.
- Lexi, Sarah & Gregor will coach U12-U18.
