1 - Thank you to the parents who gate judged at the PEI Race. Thanks also to Todd Johns and Ryan Townsend who shared the Parent on Duty (POD) role.
2 - We are looking for a volunteer to guide a visually impaired para athlete doing race training this Saturday. Preferably a former racer. Please contact Brian Carter if you are interested: text (902) 266-9591

5 - This Weekend:
Twenty-two athletes will attend the Byrne Cup Race (U12 & U14) tomorrow. This Race format includes giant slalom in the morning and slalom in the afternoon. The Scaravelli trophy will be awarded to the top GS athletes and the Office Interiors trophy will be awarded to the top SL athlete. The Byrne Cup goes to the overall winner.
U12 & up will be training slalom on Saturday and giant slalom on Sunday.
If you happen to be on the hill on Friday or Sunday, please take notice of our brand spanking new GS flags sponsored by OK Tire dealer Michael Coggins of the following locations: Dartmouth-Elmsdale-Moncton-Hammonds Plains-Bayers Lake-Sydney River-New Minas. Thank you Michael!!!

6 - FIS Update:
FIS athletes JD Todd and Lauren Steinburg raced in the Raymond James FIS O-Cup at Devil’s Glenn in Ontario last weekend…
Saturday Slalom: Lauren placed 24th with 79 competitors and JD paced 20th with 112 competitors.
Sunday GS: Lauren placed 33rd with 58 competitors and JD placed 26th with 85 competitors.
Monday GS: Lauren placed 26th with 51 competitors and JD placed 25th with 82 competitors.
Congratulations Lauren & JD!! Keep up the great work!!
7 - Dance & Silent Auction Update:
In just 3 short weeks, we will be enjoying the raucous tunes of the Hopping Penguins! Tickets are available for purchase at the lift office starting this weekend.
We have some fantastic prizes and are still collecting for silent auction prizes to ensure this is our best fundraising event of the season.
