1 – Thank you to Christina Pace for hosting a very lovely evening on Thursday….for those of you that missed it, there is still time! Up until December 5th, you can still purchase the WSRC Stella & Dot Trunk Sale on-line at https://ca.stelladot.com/ts/ba24m All commissions are donated to WSRC. Great for Christmas shopping!
2 – Early Bird Registration ends in 5 days! Don’t forget to register by Friday!!
3 – Christmas Camp is now open for registration; closing December 1st.
Space is limited; and under attended camps will be cancelled, so please register early as spots are first come, first serve.Dec 27-31 (5 days) for U10-U18 and Dec 29-31 (3 days) for U8.
You must be registered for the 2018-19 season to be able to register for the camp.
The camp is $185.00 for the week for the 5 day camp U10 and up and $111 for the week for the 3 day camp for U8. If you are unable to commit to the entire week, you can also register per day for $45 per day; priority will be given to the full camp attendees.
4 – Fundraising Update
Capital Campaign: WSRC parent Shaun Stiles and former WSRC parent Brian Strecko have landed a $3000 contribution to the Capital Campaign from Ellis Don. Thank you Shaun & Brian!!
In case you missed it, you have been e-mailed the GoFundMe link for our crowd funding initiative. We’d every member to join and raise at least $100, this represents a significant dent in our fundraising. Some parents have joined it, sent a few e-mails and with less than 20 minutes of effort, have met or exceeded this target. $500 per member would satisfy the entire amount needed for the capital campaign.

6 – This just in from Tom at Aerobics First:
“Just wanted to send you a quick note for any of your kids going out on camps at the start of December.
We usually see a bit of last minute spike in people needing race tunes or preps on their skis prior to camps. Our service shop is operating with about a weeks turnaround. If people do need work done and need it to be finished prior to the weekend of the 8th-9th December, we'd recommend having any ski gear here on Tues/Wed (27th/28th Nov) at the latest.
Race tunes are much more hands on and time consuming and we don't want to leave anyone disappointed.”
6 – This from Sheraton Four Points Edmundston:
"I am contacting you in regards to your Jan 17th - Jan 20th room block here in Edmundston at the Four Points Hotel. So far, there are 21 rooms reserved out of the 35 blocked for your group.
As indicated in your contract, we will be releasing the unreserved rooms on December 18th, so if there are any other members of your team that need to reserve, please advise them to do so in the next few weeks to ensure availability as well as the preferred rate."
