This Weekend:
Friday is the U14+ Team Atlantic Cup

• We have 74 registrants from Ben Eoin, Brunner, Poley, Martock, & WSRC!!

 
Saturday is the U8-U12 Race at Martock;

• 26 WSRC athletes have registered
• Coaches at Martock will be:  Gregor U12, Kris U12, Lexi U10 & Matt U10
• U12’s training in WW will have Connor & Diana
• U10’s training in WW will be organized by Dawn

 
 
Sunday :
Brunner Bnetting at 8:30am

• The party begins this Sunday morning at 8AM
• We meet at the race shack with ssnow boots (not ski boots) gloves etc and we all head up the hill on the CHAIR.
• All netting rolls are being piled strategically along the trail this week by the hill staff.
• With 40 to 50 people we should be done in an hour or so.
• Also, we need the 10 course crew per day during the Brunner to start signing up.

Club Photos

• Group Photos and Club Photo at 2:30pm.  Please plan to stay at Wentworth a little longer than usual to allow for these fantastic photos to be taken by Jeff Cooke (#Cooked Photography).

 
Skier Family Bingo

• 5-7pm at the Wentworth Recreation Centre. 
• Open to the public.
• Please bring cash.
• This is a FUNdraiser….the halftime show will be a reenactment of the viral video from PEI…the Cha-Cha Slide

Monday

• U10 & U12 Skill Development Day
• U14+ Additional Training Day
• Participants must pre-register on the website by end of day Friday
• Insufficient registrants in any particular age group will result in Monday being cancelled.

U14+ Brunner Camp: 

• Note! - This is just 2 days  Wednesday and Thursday as there is a high school race on Tuesday.
• The online registration is correct just the website calendar has not been updated.

Chilli Cook-off

• We need your favourite chilli recipe entered!
  • Kate Lovett will defend her title to the Golden Ladle trophy.
  • Think you’ve got a recipe that can beat last year’s winner?  Enter your chilli to win!  (signup genius site)
  • Let the people decide!!  Patrons of Ski Wentworth purchase tastings and cast their votes.  Winner is declared based on # of votes.

 
Wine Pool

• Bring a bottle of wine and $10
• Reverse draw to win all the wine
• Will be on-going during the chilli cook-off.

 
Poley Ski Cross Camp & Event March 23-25

• WSRC has a club rule for our athletes to have SX training before doing a SX event.
• Anyone vying for Canada Games should plan to attend.
• WSRC has a group bookings as follows:
  All Season Hotel, Sussex NB
  Blocked 10 rooms (7 double, 3 single)
  RELEASE DATE:  March 9th/18
  
  Fairway Inn, Sussex NB
  Blocked 6 (all double) rooms
  RELEASE DATE:  Feb. 23/18

 
Jacket Patches
Sponsor patches are (finally) in

• Anyone with a jacket is requested to drop off your jacket at end of day Sunday or Monday (if you are skiing Monday) at the race shack.
• Please ensure it is clearly marked who owns the jacket.
• We will have it brought to the tailor who is adding the patches and then will return it to you at the start of training on either Friday or Saturday.
• For Brunner Camp participants who need their jackets Mon-Thurs we will follow the same procedure the following Sunday, February 25th.
