What a cold weekend!
Thank you to all the parents for making the journey to Farlagne. It was a challenging weekend with some very challenging driving and skiing conditions. A special thank you to the volunteers that stood on the side of the hill in the extremely cold conditions. Thank you to Connor, Sarah, Mike, & Gregor who all did a great job looking after the Racers’ well-being which was no small feat. Congratulations to all the Wentworth athletes.
Weekend #2 is going to be a busy one! Here is an outline of what to expect (in amongst all this, there will be ski training as usual.)
Friday, January 12;
The Poley Race for U10-U18 on January 21/22 is open for registration. The deadline to register is January 15th.
Our January 27th Hopping Penguins Dance and Silent Auction tickets are now on sale at the Lift Office - get yours now and invite your friends! We are also still seeking prize donations. Please e-mail Karen at admin@wentworthracing.com if you have anything to contribute.

Friday, January 12;
- Adult Race Camp #1 - Don’t forget to register!
- These are open to all parents of WSRC athletes. This is meant to be a lot of fun and no prior race experience is necessary.
- Fee of $45 per day or $100 for all three includes an après ski libation at Ducky’s.
- Deadline of Noon Wednesday to register.
- Minimum number of participants requried: 5.
- Tuning Clinic by Sidecut. Port Greville room, 7-9pm
- Coffee for sale 9-10 and 11:30-12:30; alternatively you can e-mail your order form: http://www.wentworthracing.com/files/coffee2018.xlsxto admin@wentworthracing.com Coffee will be available for pickup in Wentworth on January 27th.
- Raffle tickets will be available for pickup at the same time or at the parent meetings. Note:Every family gets 1 book of ten as part of their registration package.
- U8 & U10 Parent Meeting 12:30-1:30pm in the Port Greville room (U12 parents who did not make the November meeting are welcome to attend.)
- Brunner Volunteer Meeting 1:30-2:30pm; If you are interested in helping at the race, please drop by the Port Greville room to express interest.
- This event was a big hit last year! Welcome Parent & Coach Après Ski Social hosted by WSRC parents Erika Jones and Brad Englehart from 2:30-4:30pm at 103 Barclay Road.Directions attached: http://www.wentworthracing.com/files/directions_to_apres_ski_social.pdf Parents who are new to WSRC are encouraged to attend.
- U8 & U10 Parent Meeting 12:30-1:30pm in the Port Greville room.This is basically a repeat of the Saturday meeting for anyone who was unable to attend on Saturday.
