Fall Camps at Mont Ste Anne Quebec are now listed on the WSRC Website Calendar!!!
These camps are a fantastic opportunity to get on snow early, and get in almost as much skiing as a regular season of weekends at Wentworth but in a more concentrated way so athletes reap lots of benefits (and they are very fun too!)
A typical day at a Mont Ste Anne Camp:
7:30-7:45am Morning Activation Exercises
9:15am (8:15am on weekends) Meet at Gondola with packed lunch
2-2:30pm Return from Hill
2:30-4 Rest / Homework
4pm Dryland Training
5pm Video Analysis / Debrief / Plan for Tomorrow
Last year we had a near record number of attendees and a record number of U10's.
To assist with planning this growing event, please e-mail Gregor at coaching@wentworthracing.com by May 15th you think you are interested in attending the camp.
The official notice with fees will go out in mid-September; WSRC members will have the first option on available spaces up until October 15th, after which the camp will be open to athletes from other clubs in the Maritimes. Payment for Camp 1 is due by October 31st and for Camp 2 by November 15th.
CAMP ONE DECEMBER 4th to 10th, 2017 – SEVEN DAYS – Mont Ste Anne
TECH CAMP – GS & SL
Athletes – This Camp is open to U12,U14, U16, U18 & U21 Athletes
Coaches – Gregor Byrne, Mike Clarke ,Luke Byrne, Louis Florjansic
Accomodations – Chalets Mont Ste Anne – The U14 & Up athletes stay with the coaches on this Camp. U12 Athletes will need to have parents accompany them.
Basic Agenda – Two Days Free Skiing and Five Days of Morning/Afternoon Lanes with Gate Training.
Included in Fee : Coaching / Lifts / Lanes / Equipment / Coaching & Coach expenses / Accomodations / Meals.
U14 / U16 / U18 - $1500
U12 - $1250.00 Does not include Meals or Accom
CAMP TWO DECEMBER 13th to 22nd – TEN DAYS – Mont Ste Anne
TECH CAMP – GS & SL
Athletes – This Camp is open to U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 & U21 Athletes
Coaches – Gregor Byrne, Mike Clarke , Sarah Byrne , Luke Byrne, Louis Florjansic , Connor Myers
Accomodations – Chalets Mont Ste Anne
Basc Agenda – Closed Lane Space for our groups of athletes for ALL ten days. Drill Sets / Full Course Training / Race Simulation over the ten day camp.
Included in Fee : Coaching / Lifts / Lanes / Equipment / Coaching & Coach expenses
Most Athletes stay with Parents on this Camp. Chalets Mont Ste Anne is our accommodation and they have preferred rates for our Club.
ROOM & BOARD : Available for $900.00 Per Athlete. Coaches to Chaperone. Athletes must be U14 up to Board with Coaches.
Camp Fee : $1350.00 Note : Travel is NOT included for this event.
Your athlete has to have paid their WSRC Club membership fees (or equal) for 2017/18 in order to attend either of these camps. (Must have valid ACA membership)
